Morning Energy Live with Ben Wilson – Gen AI: Your Smartest Colleague

Ben has built his career at the crossroads of energy and technology, currently leading as the director of Products and Solutions for Energy at Amazon Web Services (AWS). His role involves crafting innovative solutions for the oil, gas and power and utilities sectors, through partnerships with customers, ISVs and other industry stakeholders. In a prior role as Global CTO of Energy at Google, he spearheaded high-performance computing, AI and analytics initiatives, notably an AI-driven project for cloud optimization. Serving as CTO at P2 Energy Solutions (now IFS), Ben was instrumental in shifting to an annual recurring Revenue (ARR) model and optimizing AWS cloud for product deployments. His extensive background also spans strategic and technical positions at GE Oil & Gas, Siemens Energy, PwC and IBM, where he contributed to a wide range of projects, from software engineering to strategic partnerships, including collaborations with NASA.

Andrew joined RSEG, now part of Enverus, in early 2015 as the desk strategist. With more than 20 years of industry experience, Andrew brings a unique perspective to the team through his daily note, Morning Energy, and constant interaction with clients. Andrew started his career in energy working for Louis Dreyfus in a business development role for its midstream asset portfolio. He later joined a family office where he advised on both public and private investing in the energy space. Andrew received his MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in History from Colgate University.
