Assistant Director, Integrated Subsurface Projects, Energy & Environmental Research Center (EERC)
Amanda Livers Douglas is the assistant director for Integrated Subsurface Projects at the Energy & Environmental Research Center (EERC). With extensive expertise in CO2 storage, she specializes in geologic site characterization, monitoring and underground injection control Class VI regulatory compliance. Amanda has managed the site characterization and permitting phases of multiple commercial carbon capture and storage projects, including two currently operational ones. She has overseen the development of several Class VI permits for North Dakota, six of which have been approved, and has served as an expert witness at permit hearings. Currently, Amanda is leading a $50 million project to establish a CO2 storage hub in central North Dakota capable of storing up to 200 million tons of CO2. She holds an M.S. in Geology from the University of Kansas and a B.A. in Physics from Concordia College.

Graham joined Enverus in 2020 through the acquisition of RS Energy Group. Leading the Subsurface Innovation Team under Energy Transition Research, he strives to create intelligent connections between the subsurface, emerging energy, and carbon innovation technologies, leveraging a deep understanding of geosciences and the energy transition gained over his 9-year career. At Enverus, Graham has served as Senior Geology Associate on the Permian Asset team and as Product Manager for Geoscience Analytics, where he led a team of geologists. His prior roles include analyst for the Alberta Energy Regulator, focusing on the Athabasca oil sands, and Geologist in Training for a small Calgary-based exploration company, exploring oil potential in Nisku Formation carbonate reefs.
